The basics
Sales page
With Hoopla, you get your own sales page from which you can sell tickets. Based on a few details you provide, we automatically create the sales page and give you a unique link that you can promote to potential ticket buyers. On the sales page, you can communicate everything people need to know to buy tickets to your event, such as the start date, location and other details.
Frictionless payment
Bundled with our system, you get Nets' user-friendly payment solution where your customers can pay with card and Apple Pay. Hoopla ensures that the necessary purchase documentation (receipt) is sent out after a purchase. We deal with the transaction costs, to save you the work of dealing a payment processor.
Ticket delivery
Hoopla generates tickets and sends them automatically to ticket buyers. We send tickets to customers by email and, if the customer wants, by text message. These tickets are checked at the door on the day of the event (read more under ‘Access control’).
Ticket types
Create multiple ticket types (‘Adult’, ‘Child’, etc.) with different prices. Set limits on how many tickets of each type can be sold. Advanced features for
- Secret ticket categories that are displayed with a ‘promo code’
- Set the maximum number of tickets that can be purchased
- Require that 2 or more tickets must be purchased
- Control the time period (start and end) for when a ticket type is on sale
Ticket groups
Ticket groups are perfect for those who organise festivals lasting several days, multiple events on the same day, or want to structure their ticket sales more efficiently. By organising tickets into groups, you get a better overview and control:
- Better capacity control with a common limit for the entire group
- Common settings for all your tickets, which can be changed simply by updating the group.
- Tickets are displayed grouped on the sales page to make it easier for customers to find the right ones
- We send you a report with ticket sales grouped by your groups, so you can more easily see the sales for each group.
Additional products
Increase your earnings by giving ticket buyers the opportunity to purchase additional products such as hotel packages, food vouchers, merchandise and similar items at the same time as they buy their tickets. You can do this easily and conveniently in our event organiser solution via Optional Extras.
Event templates
If you are organising several similar events, event templates make it easy for you to set them up, saving you from having to do the same job several times. In the system, you can set up a template with all the information that is common to your events, such as venue, description, tickets, practical information or similar, and this will then be automatically set up for your events when you create a new event from the template.
Online events
Sell tickets for online events too. Automatically distribute access to streams or video recordings via the ticket sent to the buyer.
Event administration
Capacity handling
You can set capacity limits either for the event as a whole or for specific ticket categories and groups. We ensure that these limits are enforced so that you do not have to worry about whether you can sell more tickets or not.
Attendee list
Our system provides you with a clear list of participants/guests attending your event. This list can be exported as Excel to get all the information you need.
Refunds and cancellation of tickets
Refund money to customers who wish to cancel their ticket purchase via the attendee list. Refunds are made at the touch of a button, and the money goes straight back into the customer's bank account.
Regardless of whether the customer is entitled to a refund or not, you can also easily invalidate tickets via the attendee list.
Custom forms
Allergies, additional personal details or membership numbers? Collect the information you need from your guests through customised forms that you create with our form builder.
Issue Tickets
You can print tickets for your events yourself using the Issue Tickets function. Issue Tickets can be used, for example, to send free tickets for volunteers, friends and acquaintances. Or perhaps you have sponsors and partners who are entitled to tickets as part of a sponsorship agreement, etc.?
Tickets issued via this function can be printed and distributed by hand, or you can let us send them by e-mail or text message to those who are to receive the tickets.
Reserve tickets
Reserve tickets for groups or individuals. Issue tickets from reservations when the customer is ready to receive them. Keep track of who has made reservations and adjust reservations as needs change. Set a deadline for when tickets must be issued from a reservation so that the tickets can be sold to someone else after this date.
App to control admission
Reliable and user-friendly app for checking tickets at the entrance to your event. Scanning is lightning fast, minimising queues. The app also provides simple statistics on how many people have been admitted.
The app can be downloaded for both iOS and Android.
The app also offer a "Limited Access mode". "Limited Access mode" limits the visibility of statistics and personal details to those who have been admitted to the event in the app. This is useful if you have volunteers working at the door who should not see this type of information.

Our system offer pre-defined marketing consents to give you everything you need to be GDPR-compliant when sending newsletters, information, etc. to your customers.
Custom consents
Get consent from the people buying tickets so you have a legal basis for using their contact info and other data however you want.
Financial documentation
Receive clear accounting documentation on ticket sales and payments by email. Add multiple recipients if necessary. You can also download the documents via our online solution.
